Weddings
Weddings are a special challenge for a photographer. There is no one style that characterizes weddings. They are a blend of protrait, journalistic, and romance photography. A wedding album should be fun and beautiful and also full of families and friends. Careful planning and organization of time is necessary to insure an enjoyable and beautful photographic record of your wedding. In my twenty years of wedding photography one of the things that I have learned is to have a plan. With the variables on a wedding day I might not stick to it, but have a plan anyway.

Families
A family portrait is not just a picture, it is a document that is frozen in time. As the years go by it will viewed again and again. You will laugh at uncle Freds beard, and kid your six foot six nephew about how you were once taller than him, remember dad's smile,
and count the new additions. It will grow in value to you every time you view it. Whether indoor or outdoors, in the studio or in your home it will become a priceless family heirloom.
Children

Photographing a child can be a blast, we laugh and we cry, and hope the child does more of the former. You must remember that a child is not a model, he or she does not really understand what you are trying to do. They care only that they are happy and having a good time. As such, patience is the key, allow plenty of time, plan around nap time, bring favorite toys. Special outfits should be considered carefully. If a child is not comfortable in a set of clothes he will not be a happy kid. It is hard to imagine an expression more sincere or beautiful than the smile of a happy child. Newborn, toddlers, terribe twos or pre-teens, a good child sitting will bring smiles for years to come.
Seniors
High school senior photographs can be a lot of fun. Bring several outfits, bring hats, if you are into sports or music, bring something that shows your interests. Bring your dog, bring your best friend, bring a spirit of adventure, bring an attitude.
